Welcome to the Columbia Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). IEEE is the world's largest professional association for the advancement of technology, and the Columbia Section was officially formed January 31, 1972 to serve those members in the Greater Columbia and Rock Hill areas. The first Chapter, the Power and Energy Chapter was formed in March 2019. Here you will find important announcements, calendar of events, information on officers, other units, and useful links.
