Welcome

Welcome to the Denver EMC Chapter wher our days are consumed with hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, and the occasional EMC problem.

Virtual events have been our primary focus as we’ve found this to provide flexibility with all of our often-consumed schedules and busy lives. While we try to find topics relevant to our interests and experiences, please let us know if there is anything in particular that you’d like to learn more about. You can send me an email directly to our Chair (cam.jones@ieee.org) and Cameron will work to get a speaker in to host the discussion.

In addition to the virtual presentations, we're looking forward to launching some in-person events in 2024. This could include (but not limited to) dine-and-learns, social networking events, outreach to the local colleges for our inspiring engineers, or simply coordinating some outing events in the mountains. In this respect, we especially need your help to figure out what interests you all to get away from your desks and out with other like-minded individuals.

Finally, we're looking for volunteers to take up Officer positions as we step into 2024. If you have any interest in supporting your fellow EMC engineers and shaping what our group looks like here in the mile-high region, let us know! While the work may not be challenging, more hands will let us grow for years to come.
