Welcome

Welcome to the IEEE Rochester Section Joint Chapter of the Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) and the Communications Society (ComSoc). We are pleased to announce the launch of the Chapter's Special Interest Group (SIG) on Networking for AI Infrastructure. The new SIG is planned to provide a forum for collaboration on AI-native networking, hyperscale and data center networks, cloud and edge infrastructure, network resilience, security, emerging protocols, and standards development. The SIG brings together experts from academia, industry, government, and standards organizations to exchange ideas, promote collaboration, and explore activities to bridge gaps between university and industry research and other events to support knowledge sharing and innovation within our IEEE community and plans to organize
• technical presentations,
• webinars,
• workshops with panel discussions,
• collaborative projects, and
• standards-related activities.
All IEEE members, students, and industry professionals are welcome to participate in the new SIG activities.
